It was announced by actor Koichiro Nishi (Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger) will join the cast of the upcoming Ultraman Arc series.
He will play the role of Hiroshi Ban, the 43-year-old Chief of SKIP's Hoshimoto City Branch, the same branch where the protagonist Yuma is part of. His childhood fascination with dinosaurs sparked his dedication to fossil excavation and research and a path in geology. He is also a kind father who cooks for his family in his days off, and is worried about his daughter, who is in her sensitive adolescence.
He joined SKIP in order to make use of his knowledge for the good of more people. While he would often be obsessed with talking about his professional field, he is an easygoing and reliable leader who provides accurate instructions and sometimes makes surprisingly bold decisions.
Written by Jun Tsugita (Ultraman Blazar, HiGH&LOW THE MOVIE) and directed by Ultraman New Generation series veteran, Takanori Tsujimoto (Ultraman Taiga, Chosoku Parahero Gandine), Ultraman Arc is set to premiere this July 6th on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in Japan, and will be streaming worldwide via the official Ultraman YouTube channel, and is subtitled in 11 different languages.
