The TV ad for the upcoming Super Sentai mini series, 4-Week Long Special Super Sentai Strongest Battle!!, which played at this week's episode of Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs. Keisatsu Sentai Patranger. The TV ad also gives us our first look at two members of Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.
The mini series will feature five of the most popular Rangers in recent years. The actors returning for this special are: Ryota Ozawa as Gokaiger's Captain Marvelous/GokaiRed, Ai Moritaka as ToQGer's Kagura Izumi/ToQ #5, Shunsuke Nishikawa as Ninninger's Takaharu Igasaki/AkaNinger, Masaki Nakao as Zyuohger's Yamato Kazakiri/Zyuoh Eagle, and Yosuke Kishi as Kyuranger's Sasori Orange.
The special starts with a mysterious girl named Rita (played by Nana Asakawa) who gathers Super Sentai heroes to the planet Nemesis. The heroes are told that any wish that they will desire will come true if they can win the "Super Sentai Greatest Battle" tournament. Aside from these five heroes, other heroes from the series can also appear.
Directed by Koichi Sakamoto (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger, Kamen Rider Fourze) and written by Naruhisa Arakawa (Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, Special Police Dekaranger), the special will start on February 17th, taking over Lupinranger vs. Patranger's current timeslot for four weeks till March 10th.
