Variety reported that actress Amber Midthunder (Prey) will join the cast of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters' upcoming second season, which is a spin-off of the Godzilla Monsterverse series.
She will play the role of Isabel, who is described as an "intelligent and powerful businesswoman."
Taking place after the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, this new series tracks two siblings following in their father's footsteps to uncover their family's connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.
Executive producers for said project include Safehouse Pictures' Chris Black (Star Trek: Enterprise), Matt Fraction (Hawkeye), Joby Harold (Obi-Wan Kenobi), and Tory Tunnell (Underground), plus Matt Shakman (WandaVision), Andrew Colville (Star Trek: Discovery), and Jen Roskind (Animals.). Hiro Matsuoka (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) and Takemasa Arita (Godzilla: Planet of the Monsters) will serve as executive producers on behalf of Toho Co., Ltd.
