Nintendo has officially announced the successor to the Nintendo Switch, and it's simply called Nintendo Switch 2.
The video highlights the console's major design overhaul compared to the original Nintendo Switch, while also confirming that the new console will be backwards compatible with Nintendo Switch games, both physical and digital. The games that will be backwards compatible to the new console will be revealed in a later date.
