TheWrap reported that a new Power Rangers series is currently in the works for Disney+ and 20th Century TV.
The franchise current right's holder, Hasbro will produce the series with Percy Jackson and the Olympians showrunners Jonathan E. Steinberg and Dan Shotz are in talks to write, showrun, and produce said series. Like past Power Rangers titles, it is a live-action series.
Originally an adaptation of Toei Company's Super Sentai Series, it is unknown if this new Power Rangers series will continue the franchise's tradition of adapting a Super Sentai title, a reimagining of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, or a full reboot of the franchise.
