Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, the last season of the franchise thus far, which debuted on Netflix last year.
TVLine has confirmed that the new Power Rangers series that's been in development on Netflix for more than two years is cancelled.
The project, which had Jenny Klein (Supernatural, Jessica Jones) serving as showrunner, who was working in collaboration with Power Rangers franchise overseer Jonathan Entwistle is no longer moving forward in said streaming service.
The franchise's current owners, Hasbro Entertainment, is exploring a new creative direction for the series with a new partner. Details about this new partner are still unknown at this point. The only new to look forward about the franchise thus far is aside from a new game, a new toyline by Playmates starting next year.
