It was announced at the AnimeJapan 2025 event that My Dress-Up Darling's upcoming second season will premiere in July.
To commemorate this announcement, a special "Memories" promotional video was released alongside a special illustration. The "Memories" promotional video features a clip coming from the upcoming season.
Based on Shinichi Fukuda's manga of the same name, the series follows Wakana Gojo, who is a doll-artisan hopeful and spends most of his days alone, working on his dolls. This changed when his classmate, Marin Kitagawa comes into his life, who admires his doll and his work, and ask him to help her in her secret hobby: cosplay.
The manga ended last March 21st with its 115th chapter. The manga was also adapted into a live-action series, which aired last October 9, 2024.
