Bandai Namco has officially opened the website for the previously announced Mobile Suit Gundam SEED film sequel, which revealed the film's first official trailer, as well as new details about it.
Titled "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM", the film will feature a brand new story that takes place two years after the events of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY, in the year C.E. 75.
The film will be once again animated by Sunrise, under their current name, Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc. Staff members from the previous two Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series will return to work on the film sequel, most notably: director Mitsuo Fukuda, writers Chiaki Morosawa, Ryu Goto, Mitsuo Fukuda; character designer Hisashi Hirai, and music composer Toshihiko Sahashi.
Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM is set to premiere this January 26, 2024 in Japan.
