More details about the upcoming Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX TV anime was unveiled at the AnimeJapan 2025 event, and this includes a new promo reel for the series.
The promo reel has unveiled this show's take of the classic GM and Dom mobile suits.

Like past promo reels, it features the show's opening theme, "Plazma" by Kenshi Yonezu. The panel also announced that the song, "I Don't Really Care What Happens Anymore" by Suisei Hoshimachi, which was used as an insert song in the film, will also serve as the TV anime's ending theme song. The event has also unveiled a new poster for the series.
Outside of the event, it was announced at the Final Thank You stage greeting event for the Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX -Beginning- film that the TV series will only have a total of 12 episodes.

The series follows Amate Yuzuriha (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa), a high school student who is living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a war refugee named Nyaan (voiced by Yui Ishikawa), Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle.
Under the entry name "Machu," she throws herself into fierce battle day after day, piloting the GQuuuuuuX. Then an unidentified Gundam mobile suit pursued by both the space force and the police appears before her, along with its pilot, a boy named Shuji Ito (voiced by Shimba Tsuchiya).
A collaboration with studio khara (Rebuild of Evangelion films), Yoji Enokido (RahXephon) will write the series and its scripts with fellow Neon Genesis Evangelion collaborator Hideaki Anno also writing scripts for the series as well. The series will feature character designs by take (Pokémon franchise), mechanical designs by Ikuto Yamashita (Neon Genesis Evangelion, Gunbuster), and music by Yoshimasa Terui (Jujutsu Kaisen) & Masayuki Hasuo.
Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX is set to premiere this April 9th at 12:29am JST on 30 Nippon TV affiliate channels, and will be streaming on Prime Video worldwide.
