Warner Bros. Japan posted the super teaser trailer for the upcoming live-action Cells at Work! film. The trailer revealed the film's main cast.
The upcoming film stars Mei Nagano (Daytime Shooting Star, My Broken Mariko) as Red Blood Cell and Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O, Rurouni Kenshin) as White Blood Cell.
Based on Akane Shimizu's manga of the same name, the original work follows the everyday lives of the 60 trillion cells living inside your body and how they work together to keep your body healthy!
Directed by Hideki Takeuchi (live-action Nodame Cantabile, Thermae Romae), written by Yuichi Tokunaga (live-action Kaguya-sama: Love is War), and with action sequences directed by Takahito Ouchi (Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho), Cells at Work! is set to premiere this December in Japan.
