Kamen Rider X, Kikaider Reboot and Janperson Gets North American Blu-ray Release

Discotek Media announced that Kamen Rider X, Kikaider Reboot, and Special Investigation Robo Janperson will receive a North American Blu-ray release this year.

Kamen Rider X is the 3rd overall Kamen Rider Series and it follows Keisuke Jin who was killed by the evil organization of G.O.D., along with his father. Keisuke was brought back to life by the hands of his father on the verge of his death as Kamen Rider X!

All 35 episodes of the series are available in HD with brand new subtitles, and it comes with the following bonus features, namely: essay by Mike Dent, cast reunion interview series star Ryo Hayami and suit actor Kazuo Niibori, and a photo gallery. This is the fourth Kamen Rider Series released by Discotek Media.

Released by Discotek Media under the name, Kikaider: The Ultimate Human Machine, Kikaider Reboot, as its name suggest, is a reboot of the Shotaro Ishinomori series of the same name. This isn't the first time the series got a home video release in the United States as it got a home video release courtesy of Generation Kikaida. Bonus features of this release will be revealed in a later date.

Special Investigation Robo Janperson the 12th entry to the Metal Hero Series, the series revolves around Janperson, a robotic detective who patrols the streets of Tokyo and fights against three different underworld organizations that use super technology to subjugate the masses.

This is a SD-BD release, and features all 50 episodes in Japanese with English subtitles. Some of the extras include a promo clip, plus some variant next episode preview clips.
