The official Godzilla YouTube channel posted the Godzilla vs. Megalon short film today, Godzilla Day.
A sequel to the Godzilla vs. Gigan Rex short film, this is released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Megalon's debut, who first made its appearance in 1973's Godzilla vs. Megalon. The short will also have live-action segments filmed by Akihiro Shibata, best known for his work with Gifu Godzilla. Now bear witness the Reiwa battle between Godzilla and Megalon!
The short will once again be directed by Takuya Uenishi (Shin Godzilla), making this his third Godzilla short once again produced by Toho and GEMSTONE. Aside from being available on YouTube, this short film made its debut at this year's Godzilla Fest.
