The official Godzilla website announced that after more than 40 years, the King of Monsters, Godzilla makes his return to the Marvel Universe in the Godzilla vs. Marvel comic book series!
Godzilla vs. Marvel is at least a series of six all-new original one-shot stories across many Marvel eras. To commemorate this, a new promo art is released, which is illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu (Avengers, Superman Birthright) and Romulo Fajardo Jr. (Wonder Woman), which depicts the Marvel universe fighting Godzilla.
The first of these stories will be "Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four #1" written by current Fantastic Four writer Ryan North and artist John Romita Jr. (The Amazing Spider-Man). In this story, Marvel's first family will fight against Galactus and his newest herald, King Ghidorah. This one-shot is set for a March 2025 release.
