The main cast and the character voice trailer for the upcoming Dandadan anime was revealed at the Jump Festa '24 event.
The anime stars Shion Wakayama (SSSS.Dynazenon) as Momo Ayase, Natsuki Hanae (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba) as Okarun, Mayumi Tanaka (One Piece) as Turbo-Granny, and Kazuya Nakai (One Piece) as Alien Serpo.
Based on the manga of the same name, the series follows Takakura, an occult maniac who doesn't believe in ghosts, and Ayase, a girl who doesn't believe in aliens, try to overcome their differences when they encounter the paranormal!
The series will be animated by Science SARU (Devilman Crybaby, Scott Pilgrim Takes Off) and is directed by Fuga Yamashiro (Tatami Time Machine Blues). Hiroshi Seko (Chainsaw Man, Mob Psycho 100) will supervise and write the scripts, kensuke ushio (Chainsaw Man, Devilman Crybaby) will compose the show's music, Naoyuki Onda (Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway) is in-charge with character designs, and Yoshimichi Kameda (Mob Psycho 100) will design the aliens and supernatural entities.
Dandadan is set to premiere this October 2024.
