Cyborg 009: Nemesis Anime's Voice Actors, Staff Revealed

The voice actors for the upcoming Cyborg 009: Nemesis anime was revealed, and it will primarily star Yuki Kaji (Attack on Titan, Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger) as Joe Shimamura/009.

In addition, the project's enemy group, Nemesis was revealed along with their respective voice actors. The voice actors and their respective characters are:

• Yuichi Nakamura (Jujutsu Kaisen, Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters) as Graviton
• Ayane Sakura (My Hero Academia, Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger) as Deps
• Maaya Uchida (Chainsaw Man, Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger) as Morphone
• Shion Wakayama (Dandadan, SSSS.Dynazenon) as Blitz
• Tetsu Inada (My Hero Academia, Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger) as Aspida
  
• Kikuko Inoue (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger) as Opro
  
• Hiroshi Kamiya (Attack on Titan, Uchu Sentai Kyuranger) as Crack
  
• Yoshimasa Hosoya (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) as Blizzard
  
• Rina Hidaka (Tropical-Rouge! Precure) as Mu

​Based on Shotaro Ishinomori's Cyborg 009 manga, the original manga follows a global organization known as Black Ghost, which seeks to lock the world into eternal war. The organization has captured nine people and turned them into cyborg soldiers, but these cyborgs rebel and fight against Black Ghost.

The project will be directed by Hideki Ambo (Yakitori: Soldiers of Misfortune) with scripts written by Atsuhiro Tomioka (Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger, Pokémon) and CHARATEX. The project will feature character designs by sanorin (My Girlfriend is a Colossal Cutie) and will be animated by Arect (Kaiju Decode). 

Lastly, as previously revealed in a trailer, Barbee Boys' Kyoko will perform a new version of the show's 1979 TV anime opening theme, "Taga tame ni". Cyborg 009: Nemesis will be streaming soon this summer.
