The official live-action Sakamoto Days Twitter account announced that the film's secret character, X (Slur) is played by actor Jun Shison (Ressha Sentai ToQGer)!
X (Slur) is the most vicious enemy that's targeting Taro Sakamoto's life.
As previously reported, Snow Man member Ren Meguro (Trillion Game, My Happy Marriage) will play Taro Sakamoto. Also part of the film's main cast are: Fumiya Takahashi (Kamen Rider Zero-One) as Shin Asakura, Aya Ueto (Azumi) as Aoi Sakamoto, Miyu Yoshimoto as Hana Sakamoto, Mayu Yokota (Saber + Zenkaiger: Superhero Senki) as Lu Shaotang, and Junki Tozuka (Kamen Rider Wizard) as Heisuke Mashimo.
The original manga by Yuuto Suzuki follows Taro Sakamoto, who was the ultimate assassin, feared by villains and admired by hitmen, but one day, he fell love! He retired, got married, became a father, and then... Sakamoto gained weight! this chubby man who runs the neighborhood store is actually a former legendary hitman! Can he protect his family from danger?!
The film will be produced by CREDEUS with Avex Pictures, and serving as the film's writer and director is Yuichi Fukuda (Live-Action Gintama, Saint Young Men) with Keiya Tabuchi (Kamen Rider Amazons) serving as action director. Fukuda stated that editing is already done on the film and even though there's no CG or music yet, he thinks that it's already good enough for theaters.
