2nd Project R.E.D. Series, KakuseiHunter Omegahorn Official Announced

Toei has officially announced the second entry of the Project R.E.D. franchise, KakuseiHunter Omegahorn!

​In the upcoming series, an unusual buddy duo of a human and a horned beast takes on the Hunter Battle in this action-packed adventure! Seen below is the first teaser trailer of the series labeled "Awaken", in which we see the titular red hero of the series, Omegahorn and the said horned beast.

In the world of Omegahorn, gigantic creatures called "Horned Beasts" ruled the Earth in ancient times, but at some point, they were sealed away in an item called "Egorgear" and disappeared from the face of the Earth. In modern times, humans have emerged who uses a megaphone-shaped item called "Kakuseiki" to draw out the power of the Horned Beasts sealed in the Egorgear, and they have come to be known as "Hunters". 

The series follows Shout of Flame, who is well-versed in ancient scripts, deciphers ancient documents, goes on explorations, and makes a living by selling the artifacts he unearths. One day, Shout discovers a Kakuseiki and an Egorgear on an altar of an ancient ruin. Confused by this "Kakuseiki Omegahorn", which is different from the standard Kakuseiki used by modern hunters, he sets the Egorgear in place, and a gigantic beast with horns, Enkaku, appears. Seeing the qualities of a "king" in Shout, Enkaku orders to call himself, "Captain Omegahorn" and fight alongside him, leading to a battle against a diverse cast of hunters wherever they go. 

The series will star SEVENIC member Sho Narahara as Shout of Flame. On the other hand, Masato Kunigami (Love Sea: The Home for Lovers) will play Shout's Horned Beast partner, Enkaku in his human form, which is called a demi-human form.

Aside from Shout, there are other Hunters that will appear in the series, and they are: 

• Nanaha Itose (Monster) as Giriko the Wave-Slasher, a cunning hunter of the same generation as Shout who is sometimes their ally and sometimes their enemy.
• Shogo Tazuru (Can I Buy Your Love from a Vending Machine?) as Ibaru of Despair, a charismatic leader who commands many hunters and fights with the power of a special Kakuseiki and the Horned Beast, Zetsuenkaku.

Lastly, Eito Konishi (Takara's Treasure) will play Zetsuenkaku's demi-human form and is Ibaru's partner Horned Beast.

Featuring the catchphrase, "Raise your voice!" KakuseiHunter Omegahorn is set to premiere this July 26th, replacing Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity.
