Voice actors Maaya Uchida (Unofficial Sentai Akibaranger, Chainsaw Man) and Kaito Ishikawa (Dandadan, Haikyu!!) announced on their respective social media accounts that they have married each other.
In their post, they would like to express their deepest gratitude to their fans and colleagues who have supported them, and it is thanks to our support that they were able to continue their careers. Because they are members of the entertainment industry, they are important to each other, sharing mutual understanding and respect for their work. As they have spent more time together, they strongly felt they want to walk through life together, and decided to take this next step in their relationship.
As they reach this new milestone in their lives, they will strive to grow more than ever with a sense of responsibility and as people and voice actors. They hope to develop richer experiences and sensibilities through married life and apply it to their future roles. The two are inexperienced, and asked for our continued support and guidance and to continue to warmly watch over them.
Both Uchida and Ishikawa are co-stars in the GATE anime as they play Shino Kuribayashi and Takeo Kurata respectively. From all of us here, congratulations to the happy couple!
