Bandai Japan posted their video review of the Ultra Replica Zero Slugger from the Ultraman Zero series.
Released as part of Ultraman Zero's 15th anniversary celebrations, these items represent the space boomerangs attached to Ultraman Zero's head, which he used as weapons. Each Zero Slugger is 36cm in length, and is recreated based on the size of the items when held in Zero's hand.
The appearance has been recreated with a design that minimizes the number of parts divided so as not to spoil the Zero Slugger's beautiful form. The figure is painted silver, and is based on the color of both items seen in the films and Ultraman Zero's later appearances. You can also display both Zero Sluggers in their special pedestal.
Each of the Zero Sluggers includes different attack sounds, Ultraman Zero's character voice (played by Mamoru Miyano), and various background music. The sound buttons are located where your fingers would naturally fall, allowing you to combine the left and right Zero Sluggers to recreate the speedy attacks from the series.
Lastly, the item comes with two background music tracks, namely: "Ultraman Zero's Theme (Electric Guitar Version)" and "Go! Ultraman Zero". By operating the Zero Slugger while listening to the background music, you can be more immersed with the role playing. This Premium Bandai web exclusive set cost 13,200 yen, and is set for a December release. Pre-orders will end on September 9th.
