Tsuburaya announced the plot and title of the upcoming Ultraman Orb spin-off. Titled "Ultraman Orb THE ORIGIN SAGA", this 12-episode spin-off series will premiere on Amazon Prime.
The spin-off will explore Gai Kurenai/Ultraman Orb and the antagonist Jugglus Juggler's past. They once fought on the same side and used the same power.
Hideo Ishiguro (Kamen Rider Den-O, Gokusen), and Takaya Aoyagi (Parasyte -the maxim-) will reprise their roles as Gai Kurenai/Ultraman Orb, and Jugglus Juggler respectively. In addition, the series is directed by Kazuya Konaka (Ultraman: The Next) and Hideki Oka (Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Dyna: Warriors of the Star of Light), with scripts by Hirotoshi Kobayashi (Ultraman X) and Soutarou Hayashi (live-action Negima! Magister Negi Magi).
Ultraman Orb THE ORIGIN SAGA is set for a December 26th premiere, with new episodes coming out every Monday.
