Premium Bandai posted the official images of the Ultraid Chronicle XIG Fighter from the Ultraman Gaia series.
The XIG Fighter are advanced fighter jets primarily used by members of XIG. This release has two versions, namely: "Ultraid Chronicle XIG Fighter EX & SG Set" and "Ultraid Chronicle XIG Fighter SS & SG Set". Compared to the original DX toy, this release features a completely new design and is 140% larger in Fighting Mode, and features light and sound gimmicks.
All the models, namely: EX, SS, and SG feature a transformation gimmick, which includes transforming into its Container Mode like the one seen in the series. As for the light and sound gimmick, said gimmick is located in the cockpit area. The XIG Fighter EX features a sound gimmick, which plays sounds from the series. In addition, the takeoff sound and the transformation sound from Container Mode to Fighting Mode also includes Gamu Takuya's (played by Takeshi Yoshioka) transformation sound into Ultraman Gaia!
This Premium Bandai web exclusive set cost 11,000 yen, and is set for an August release. Pre-orders will end on May 19th.
