Premium Bandai posted the official images of the Ultra Replica Ultraman Leo 50th Anniversary Set from the Ultraman Leo series.
Released to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Ultraman Leo's initial broadcast, this set comes with Ultraman Leo's transformation device, the Leo Ring (The Lion's Eye) and the Secret Sign-Type Sound Unit.
That said, the Secret Sign-Type Sount Unit ha a built-in sensor that reacts to sound and is equipped with a gimmick that plays the transformation sound when you speak. By wearing the Leo Ring on your finger, you can recreate Ultraman Leo's transformation by shouting "Leo!" just like in the series, thus the unit will play the transformation sound. You can also play the transformation sound with a press of a button as well.
Other sounds such as attack sounds, monster cries, and even background music are also included, thus allowing you to recreate some of the deadly battles seen in the series. Also included is Gen Otori's (played by Ryu Manatsu) transformation sound, and the theme songs, "Ultraman Leo" (TV size) and "Fight! Ultraman Leo" (TV size).
The Leo Ring is made entirely of metal and plating, which you can wear in your finger. Ring adjustment parts are included, which you can adjust into three sizes, namely: 18.5 (large), 16 (medium), and 14 (small). You can also display this item with its dedicated pedestal so that you can display it. This Premium Bandai web exclusive set cost 13,200 yen, and is set for a January 2025 release. Pre-orders will end on September 9th.
