Bandai Namco Southeast Asia posted a new video for the Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher game, revealing the game's release date as well as its early bonuses.
The game is set for an October 20th release only for the Nintendo Switch. In addition, the video also revealed the package exclusive early purchase bonus, and digital exclusive pre-order bonus, which are: Sevenger Giant of Light Skin and Kaiju-Raising Items Set.
In the latest entry to the Monster Rancher series, instead of using classic Monster Rancher creatures, you will use monsters and aliens coming from the Ultraman series! Train monsters to improve their stats, have them race rivals, build Ultraman snow sculptures, and even spar! You can also fuse monsters to find the ultimate monster! Some of the Ultra monsters featured are: Gomora, Alien Baltan, Alien Dada, Zetton, Eleking, Sevenger, King Joe, Miclas, Golza, Melba, Birdon, Alien Metron, and Kanegon.
In the game, players will create their own massive farm and build it up with the help coming from various monsters. Just like your standard Monster Rancher game, you can recruit new monsters by putting in a random media via CD or DVD into the game, but because the Switch doesn't have a disc drive, the recruitment method is different. In this edition, players need to search pieces of music by title or artist in a list to create a new Kaiju, but that's not all, you can also use the IC smart cards used in transit systems and NFC chips in smartphones to get new monsters!
