Premium Bandai posted the official images of the Ultimate Article Ultraman Taro from the Ultraman Taro series.
This special statue stands 40cm tall and accurately reproduces the suit early in the series down to the last detail based on historical research, and is made in cooperation with Tsuburaya's official modeling team, LSS (Light Sculpture Studio).
In addition, the item features a light and sound gimmick in its base. Switching it to ON1, it starts with the sound of the "Ultra Badge" shining before the transformation, and then Taro's transformation sound effect beats! At the same time, both eyes, the beam lamp, and the Color Timer (blue) will light up! Then, the familiar background music (Ultraman Taro instrumental) from the battle scene plays for about 155 seconds!
Switching it to ON2, the Timer sound linked to the Color Timer (flashing red) will beat for about 20 seconds, and then the sound effect for the "Strium Ray" special move will be activated along with its corresponding shout! The sound of Taro jumping off after battle is also included.
Lastly, the statue comes with extra arms, thus allowing the figure to perform two kinds of poses, namely the "fighting pose" and the "Strium Ray" pose. It also comes with two kinds of bracelets for the left arm, namely the "Taro Bracelet" (early model) and the "King Bracelet" (later model), which you can swap around. The item also comes with two kinds of pedestal stickers. This Premium Bandai web exclusive item cost 34,100 yen, and is set for an April 2025 release.
