The official TOHO animation YouTube channel posted the trailer for the Loid Forger: Past Arc from the SPYxFAMILY anime's third season. The trailer features the show's opening theme, "Protect the Light" by Spitz.
As the name of the arc suggest, the anime will adapt the manga's 63rd chapter, which details Twilight's past and how he ended up becoming a spy. Said chapter was originally released in three parts, and it is unknown how many episodes the anime will cover said arc. Loid Forger: Past Arc will start this October 11th.
The cast from the previous seasons will all reprise their respective roles. The new season will be once again animated by Wit Studio and CloverWorks. Yukiko Imai, who previously directed episodes of the series, will now serve as the show's main director. Yuki Takeuchi (Witch Watch) and Tomomi Sugimoto (SPYxFAMILY) will now be in-charge of art setting, Keita Watanabe (Wind Breaker) will serve as CG director, and Rina Koguchi (Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc) will serve as this season's editor.
