The official Dengeki Bunko Twitter account announced that the Shakugan no Shana light novel series will get a new volume.
The new volume tentatively titled Shakugan no Shana SIV, and this new volume is the fourth Shakugan no Shana S short story collection. This is also the first new volume of the franchise since the release of 2012's Shakugan no Shana SIII, which is 11 years ago.
This light novel series is written by Yashichiro Takahashi with art by Noizi Ito in which invaders from the Crimson Realm come to Earth looking fro something called the Power of Existence. Whoever possesses this profound power will control the very quintessence of reality. Fighting them is an enigmatic young girl with fire blazing in her eyes.
The series was adapted into three anime seasons, with the final season adapting the light novel's ending.
