S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (2023) -The Odo Island Monster- Official Images Revealed

Bandai Tamashii Nations posted the official images of the S.H. MonsterArts Godzilla (2023) -The Odo Island Monster- from the Godzilla Minus One film.

This figure is based on Godzilla's pre-transformation form as seen early in the film, in which Godzilla attacked and devastated the Odo Island garrison. The item stands 120mm tall, with the prototype being sculpted, colored, and produced by leading Godzilla sculptor Yuji Sakai. Using the CG from the film as reference, the figure faithfully recreates the distinctive forward leaning posture, large head, slender torso and legs, with proportions closer to a dinosaur compared to the Godzilla we later saw in the film. The texture of the skin and the shape of the dorsal fin are also different from the later Godzilla, with the shape of the skin's scales being meticulously sculpted. 

The coloring is adjusted with the color scheme that evokes a sense of being a living creature while imaging the appearance from the film. The figure's proportions are maintained and a wide range of motion is available throughout the body in a natural way. It can flexibly recreate poses seen in the film, such as shaking the head left and right, and roaring while looking upward.

Lastly, the figure comes with a special Godzilla Minus One display stand and support column, with the film's logo and the word, "Godzilla" printed in it. A perfect partner to the separately sold S.H.
