Bandai Tamashii Nations announced that Kamen Rider New #1 and Kamen Rider New #2 will receive brand new S.H. Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) figures.
Called the S.H. Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Glorious Showa Rider Edition, this brand new versions of the previously released S.H. Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider New #1 and S.H. Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider New #2 figures have their coloring based on the one seen in the original broadcast of the 1971 Kamen Rider series. Just like the new S.H. Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider Stronger figure (sold separately), the scarf is made of cloth.
Based on the promotional images released thus far, the S.H. Figuarts (Shinkocchou Seihou) Kamen Rider New #2 will have an alternate black helmet as seen in Kamen Rider Stronger. Details such as how they will release this alternate helmet are yet to be announced.
Another thing that was announced aside from these two figures is the S.H. Figuarts New Cyclone 1 Glorious Showa Rider Edition. What makes this version of New Cyclone 1 different from the last one is that it has been given a dirty paint job on the lower part of the body. Because of this, you can now recreate scenes wherein the New Cyclone 1 gets dirtied! Details such as the price and release dates of said items are yet to be announced.
