Music production company MOJOST announced that singer Nobuo Yamada, also known as NoB, has passed away. He was 61 years old.
The singer passed away on August 9th at 1:39pm after his long battle against kidney cancer in a hospital. In the official statement, they stated to respect the feelings of his family and refrain from visiting their home to pay respects or for interviews. A farewell gathering will be held for fans at a later date. Details about it will be revealed once it the details have been decided.
Born January 20, 1964, Yamada was former lead vocalist of the band MAKE-UP in which he performed Saint Seiya's opening theme, "Pegasus Fantasy" and the ending theme, "Blue Forever". Aside from Saint Seiya, he also performed theme songs for the Super Sentai Series, most notably: GoGo Sentai Boukenger, Tensou Sentai Goseiger, and Super Sentai Strongest Battle. He also performed the theme song of Kamen Rider Amazons: Last Judgement film.
