The official Garo Project blog announced that to commemorate the 15th anniversary of Garo's initial broadcast, the show's first season, which was remastered in HD will be available on YouTube with English subs.
In addition, for fans who want to improve their Japanese skills, Romanji Japanese subs are available as well. As of this writing, only the first two episodes are subbed in English, but it is likely that the rest of the series will be posted with English subs soon.
Garo's first season follows Kouga Saezima, the current Golden Knight Garo as he protects humanity against dark demonic infestations called Horrors. The series kicks off when he meets a young girl names Kaoru whom he saves from a Horror, but gets stained with Horror's blood. The Makai Knights have a rule that those that have been stained by the blood of a Horror shall be executed before experiencing a painful death after approximately 100 days.
