After posting the short version of the music video over 2 years ago, Warner Music Japan finally posted the full music video of Plastic Love by Mariya Takeuchi
The song was included in her 1984 album "VARIETY", which reached #1 in the Oricon album charts. In recent years, the song received a new leash of life thanks to YouTube as a fan upload of the song featuring a photo of the artist from her "Sweetest Music/Morning Glory" single getting recommended to fans worldwide.
The new music video is directed by Kyotaro Hayashi, who interpreted the song based on the era the song was a product of. The new music video is part to promote the release of her new 3-disc, 62-track compilation album titled "Turntable", which commemorates the artist's 40th anniversary of her career. The album was released back in August 21, 2019.
