Konami revealed at the Jump Victory Carnival 2019 event that the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise will get a new TV anime series.

The new anime series will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the anime franchise. The announcement video features a quick recap of the six previous anime series, from Duel Monsters to the currently airing series, VRAINS. The teaser state that "the history of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series will change."
The 7th entry* of the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime series is set for a 2020 release.
