Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS Anime Project's 2nd Trailer, Release Details Revealed

The official Mobile Suit Gundam Twilight AXIS anime project has unveiled a new trailer for the series, as well as the series' release details. 

The series will have a total of 6 episodes, the first 5 episodes being three minutes long, and the last episode running for 8 minutes.

The series takes place in Universal Century 0096, a few months after the events of Mobile Gundam Unicorn, and follows Arlette Armaju, a former Zeon weapons developer, and Danton Haireg, a former Zeon test pilot. These two join a research team sent to investigate the shattered Axis outside of Earth's orbit. Like all Gundam titles, the series will feature new Mobile Suits, most notably the Gundam AN-01 Tristan, and Zaku III Kai. 

The series will feature the directorial debut of Se Jun Kim (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn), with Shingo Abe (Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans) as the chief mechanical animation director, and Hideki Nakamura (Gundam Thunderbolt) as the art director. Lastly, Takashi Ohmama (Phantasy Star Online 2: The Animation) composing the music, and Ark Performance credited for the anime's story and concept design. 

Gundam Twilight AXIS' first episode will debut for free on June 23rd on the Gundam Fan Club, Gundam.info, the Yatate Bunko imprint's website, the Bandai Channel service, and the YouTube service. Later episodes will stream exclusively on the Gundam Fan Club website every other week.
