Toei announced that M!LK boy band member Shunta Sono (Smells Like Green Spirit) joins the cast of the upcoming Kamen Rider ZEZTZ summer movie.
He will play the role of Shuma Kumon, a young elite dark hero who serves as the chairman of the National Public Safety Commission. Outwardly, he is the top official protecting the country's security and dealing with incidents, but his true identity is that of a terrifying enemy who transforms the real world into a world of "daydreams" and manipulates people's consciousness. He is also NOX/Kensei Odaka's cousin and plots to recruit him. Using the Daydream Capsem and setting it into the Mugen Driver, he transforms into Kamen Rider Mugen. Kumon practices swordsmanship in his daily life, fights with a sword even after transforming into a Kamen Rider.
The actor received instruction in swordsmanship movements and took on the challenge of full-fledged fight choreography for the first time. There's a powerful battle scene in which he overwhelms Kamen Rider ZEZTZ and Kamen Rider NOX with his immense power and is advertised as a "must see".
Released as part of the Kamen Rider ZEZTZ & Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity: Double Hero Summer Movie 2026 double billing, the currently untitled Kamen Rider ZEZTZ summer movie is set for a July 24th release in Japan, with plans for an overseas release in the future.
