A new Medabots game for the 3DS titled Medabots: Girls Mission was announced. This entry of the franchise is similar to the other entries of the franchise except that it features over 20 girls and it involves a Medabots tournament called "Artemis Cup".
As the title suggest, you can team up with a girl buddy and gain friendship levels as you work together to beat enemies. As the bond increases, the buddy's Medabots also becomes stronger. The game will feature 2v2 Robattles and you can control your units with the A, B, X, and Y buttons. Whichever side can shut down their enemy's Medabots wins the fight.
The game will also feature over 100 Medabots and customizable parts for head, left and right arms, and legs with each part having its own unique skill, characteristics, and control. Winning fights result in earning parts and points to power up your Medabots.
Finally, you can team up with up to four people for local co-op and even have a friend control your buddy character for the story co-op. Internet play on the other hand, features 1v1 battles with friends or random players. The game will be released in Kabuto and Kuwaga versions and is set for a March 10 release in Japan.
