As previously reported, Issey Takahashi (Whisper of the Heart) will once again reprise his role as Rohan Kishibe, alongside Marie Iitoyo (Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger) as Rohan's editor, Kyoka Izumi. These two new episodes are:
Episode 7 - Hot Summer Martha, which is set to air on December 26
Based on the chapter of the same name in which Rohan is working on a new work called "Hot Summer Martha". The episode guest stars Kotone Furukawa (Life's Punchline) as Eve.
Episode 8 - Rock-Paper-Scissors Boy, which is set to air on December 27
Based on the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable story arc titled "Janken Boy Is Coming!" in which Rohan is challenged by a kid named Ken Oyanagi (played by child actor Hinata Hiiragi) in a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors.
The staff from the previous two seasons will once again work on the new season with Yasuko Kobayashi (Kamen Rider Den-O, Samurai Sentai Shinkenger) writing the series' script, and Naruyoshi Kikuchi (Tokyo Ghoul: 'S') composing the show's music. Lastly, Kazutaka Watanabe (Only Yesterday live-action special) returns to direct the series. The new season is set to return on NHK General this December.
