TV Tokyo announced that Shuzo Oshimi's The Flowers of Evil manga will get a live-action series adaptation.
The series will star ano (live-action Oshi no Ko project) and Fuku Suzuki (Kamen Rider Geats) as Sawa and Takao respectively.
The original manga follows Takao, who falls in love with Nanako, but he can't express his feelings through words. Instead, he secretively acts out in a heat of passion which creates a huge scandal in his school. There's one person who knows his true nature, and her name is Sawa and will do anything nurture what he hides.
The series will be directed by Paul Young (Pokemon Live: A Pocketful of Adventures) alongside Noboru Iguchi (live-action Flowers of Evil film). The series will feature scripts written by Keita Meguro (Red Blue) and Shuho Takase (Red Blue).
The Flowers of Evil is set to air in TV Tokyo and other channels in April 2026, and will stream exclusively on Disney+.
