Prime Video posted a special video for the upcoming live-action Like a Dragon: Yakuza series. The video highlights the show's main cast.
The upcoming series stars Ryoma Takeuchi (Kamen Rider Drive) as Kazuma Kiryu and Kento Kaku (House of Ninjas) as Akira Nishikiyama.
This six-part series is set in two time periods, 1995 and 2005 and follows the life, childhood friends, and the repercussions of the decisions of a fearsome and peerless Yakuza warrior with a strong sense of justice, duty, and humanity.
Joining the show's cast are:
The series will be directed by Masaharu Take (The Naked Director) with story and screenplay by Sean Crouch and Yugo Nakamura, and a Japanese screenplay by Yasuhiro Yoshida (Cold Case: Shinjitsu no Tobira) and Kana Yamada (The Naked Director). Like a Dragon: Yakuza will be released in two batches of three episodes on October 25th and November 1st on Prime Video with subtitled and dubbed versions in 30 languages.
