Square Enix announced that the Kakegurui spin-off series, Kakegurui Twins will have a live-action TV series adaptation.
Kakegurui Twins takes place a year prior to the events of the main Kakegurui series as it follows Mary Saotome and how she got her start at this gambling-addicted school. Aoi Morikawa, who played Mary Saotome in the previous live-action Kakegurui projects will reprise said role.
The director of the live-action Kakegurui film, Tsutome Hanabusa will serve as the show's chief director as well as write the series, while Shinya Nagano, who direct the previous two seasons of the live-action Kakegurui series will direct the spin-off. Live-action Kakegurui writer Minato Takano will return as well.
Kakegurui Twins is set for a 2021 release.
