The official live-action Cells at Work! film website and social media accounts revealed more cast members and a new poster for the upcoming film.

As previously reported, also part of the film's cast are: Mei Nagano (Daytime Shooting Star, My Broken Mariko) as Red Blood Cell, Takeru Satoh (Kamen Rider Den-O, Rurouni Kenshin) as White Blood Cell, Mana Ashida (Pacific Rim, BL Metamorphosis) as healthy high school student Niko Urushizaki, and Sadao Abe (Team Medical Dragon, Parasyte) as his exhausted father Shigeru.

Based on Akane Shimizu's manga of the same name, the original work follows the everyday lives of the 60 trillion cells living inside your body and how they work together to keep your body healthy!
Directed by Hideki Takeuchi (live-action Nodame Cantabile, Thermae Romae), written by Yuichi Tokunaga (live-action Kaguya-sama: Love is War), and with action sequences directed by Takahito Ouchi (Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho), Cells at Work! is set to premiere this December 13th in Japan.
