MBS revealed that the live-action Ayaka is in Love with Hiroko series will get a sequel series labelled 2nd Stage, and is also titled Ayaka is in Love x Love x Love with Hiroko.
Both Kanna Mori (Kamen Rider Decade) and Shiho Kato (Re:Mind) will reprise their respective roles as Hiroko Kano and Ayaka Usagida respectively. In this sequel series, now that they are a couple, we see them live together in one home, have a vacation in Hawaii, and visit Hiroko's sister for her wedding!
Series creator Sal Jiang will supervise the scripts written by Ayumi Shimo (Mashin Sentai Kiramager), who has developed an original story that continues from the original series. The sequel series will have a total of six episodes and is divided into two parts. Episodes 1-3, labelled "Hawaiian Edition" will be directed by Yuka Eda, while Episodes 4-6, labelled "Living Together Edition" will be directed by Yuho Ishibashi.
Ayaka is in Love x Love x Love with Hiroko is set to premeire on MBS and TV Kanagawa on June 26, on TV Saitama on June 30, on Gunma TV on July 1, on Tochigi TV on July 2, and on Chiba TV on July 3.
