Power Morphicon announced its first guest stars for this year's upcoming event. These guest stars are Koichi and Motoko Sakamoto, and Kane Kosugi.
This is the first time Koichi and Motoko Sakamoto made their return to Power Morphicon after their first appearance in 2007, while this is Kane Kosugi's Power Morphicon debut.
Kane Kosugi is best known for his role as Ninja Black Jiraiya in Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. Aside from Kakuranger, he played Kenichi Kai/Ultraman Powered, Azuma/Kamen Rider Daimon in Kamen Rider Revice the Movie: Battle Familia, and had a role in Godzilla: Final Wars, making him the only actor to star in four tokusatsu franchises.
Motoko Sakamoto is best known for her role as A-Squad Punk and Power Rangers SPD, and has both on-screen and in-suit roles in various seasons of Power Rangers, Ultraman, Godzilla, Gridman, and video games such as Dino Crisis 2, Resident Evil: Code Veronica, Onimusha, and Metal Gear Solid 2. Koichi Sakamoto on the other hand, is best known for his work as a director and producer in various seasons of Power Rangers, Super Sentai, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, and Garo.
Power Morphicon 2026 will happen on August 28-30 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Los Angeles, California.
