Toei announced that Kamen Rider Shinobi, the Kamen Rider from the year 2022 will get his own spin-off series titled Rider Time Shinobi.
First appearing in the Kamen Rider Zi-O TV series' 17th episode, the spin-off will star Hideya Tawada (Shuriken Sentai Ninninger) who will reprise his role as Rentaro Kagura/Kamen Rider Shinobi. Billed as the Part 1 of a Kamen Rider Zi-O spin-off series, the upcoming series will be directed by Takayuki Shibasaki (Heisei Rider vs. Showa Rider: Kamen Rider Taisen feat. Super Sentai) and written by Kaori Kaneko (Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger vs. Keisatsu Sentai Patranger).
Rider Time Shinobi is set to premiere in the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC) service and is set for a late March release. This is the first of the two "premium drama" collaborative project between Video Pass and TTFC. The second work, which will stream on Video Pass will be announced at the Super Hero Festival event on January 23rd.
