Toei announced that for the first time, the Kamen Rider series will get a stage play as Kamen Rider Zangetsu from the Kamen Rider Gaim TV series will star in his own play!
Titled "Kamen Rider Zangetsu the Stage: Gaim Gaiden", the stage play will focus on Takatora Kureshima/Kamen Rider Zangetsu, one of the breakout characters from the popular Kamen Rider Gaim TV series. Yuki Kubota, who played the character in the series will reprise said role in the upcoming play.
The upcoming play will feature an original story written and directed by Nobuhiro Mouri with original series head writer Nitroplus' Gen Urobuchi serving as the play's supervisor, and Nitroplus' Jin Haganeya serving as the script supervisor. Additional details such as the other cast members will be revealed in a later date.
Kamen Rider Zangetsu the Stage: Gaim Gaiden will start its run on March 2019 in Tokyo and in Kyoto.
