Premium Bandai posted the official images and promo video of the Complete Selection Modification Accel Driver & Trial Memory ver.2 from Kamen Rider W series.
This item represents the transformation device used by Ryu Terui to transform into Kamen Rider Accel and his various other forms. This release is an updated version, both in design and function of the original CSM Accel Driver. Aside from the Accel Memory, the set also comes with the Trial Memory and the Gaia Memory Enhancing Adapter, making this the first time said items receive the CSM treatment. These items of course have intercommunication functionality with the other CSM Kamen Rider W ver.2 products.
The Accel Driver features a newly sculpted driver body, and the division of parts significantly improves the contrast of the coloring. It features a new audio gimmick, allowing various sounds to be activated using four new buttons. It can also play lines coming from Ryu Terui/Kamen Rider Accel (played by Minehiro Kinomoto) thanks to the dialogue button. Aside from said button, it also has a mode that automatically activates with actions such as special moves, thus further enhancing the level of role play. The BGM can alsobe activated by pressing the buttons. Various role playing activities are now possible by playing memorable background music associated to Kamen Rider Accel such as "Leave all behind", "Dashing Accel" and "Trial".
Inserting the included Trial Memory to the Accel Driver will transform the user into Kamen Rider Accel Trial. By communicating with the Driver, the driver's light changes from red to blue. The lines and sound effects activated by the Driver also change to those related to Trial. The Trial Memory's signature special move is also enhanced. By removing the Trial Memory and pressing the sound effect button, the segments light up. By operating the Driver during transformation, you can change the Trial Memory's mode and fix the "number of seconds displayed when the countdown is stopped."
This allows you to stop the countdown at any time during a special move and a specific number of seconds will be displayed, triggering the corresponding special move sound and dialogue. You can choose from modes such as the "Weather Dopant battle (9.8 seconds)" and the "Trigger Dopant battle (9.1 seconds)", allowing you to recreate memorable scenes from the series and movie.
