More on stuff that furthers the show's plot at the start of the episode, it reminded us that Takeru has more than a month left before he dies for good, and he still haven't figured out on why he can't make a wish with the 15 Heroic Eyecons. Guess that means the power is only good for one year? Oh what the heck, pretty sure this will tie in with the Ganmaizer stuff. Now to the important stuff that was left forgotten until Alain reminded us about it, the gates. These are the things that Alain was making back when he was a bad guy just to give you guys a quick refresher.
Because the gates connect the human and Ganma worlds and Adel will likely use it to summon an army, they decided to destroy the gates. What comes next is a montage of them destroying them. It was a really fun scene if you asked me and just seeing Takeru fight alongside Ryoma aka the coolest of the Heroic Eyecons that appeared in the series was a nice sight to see. While Takeru, Makoto, and Alain are busy destroying the gates and clearing out its guards, we got a plot involving Shibuya and his mother, tying in with the Ganmaizers turning adults into kids.
Heck, the fact that we learned that he has a surname and a life outside of the Tenkuuji Temple already promoted him from generic supporting character #1 to that guy with a name and a back story! Anyway, because adults becoming kids is a weird phenomenon, it is no surprise that Takeru and friends ended up getting this case. So when Shibuya's mom gets involved with it, the case evolved from something that should good for one episode into something worth of a two-part episode, but to be fair, half of it is devoted in furthering the plot of the series, which leads to the return of one character.
To get us more invested in the story, thanks to Takeru's newly found memory peeking ability, we learned more about the man who is possibly Shibuya's father and why Shibuya's mom wants his son to become tougher. But before we get further invested in it, a new general arrives, and his name is Gyro. Not gonna lie, Gyro is cooler than Javert. I mean, not only his actor is Mr. Kamen Rider himself, Seiji Takaiwa but he has this cool presence on-screen. The fact that he is on par with the three Riders is really fun to watch, making me wish that we will see more of him in the future.
