Anyway, our heroes investigate the Ganma incident and it seems they can handle the situation only to be surprised by the appearance of a mysterious new Rider. This white Rider has the ability to control Ganma what I like about it is that at the get go, the scene showed us the difference between Ghost and Specter over this new Rider named Necrom. The guy can control Ganma, and even with their power, it seems that these Ganma soldiers got a little boost when it comes to power. Granted, they managed to beat them, but this doesn't diminish the fact that this new guy is quite a threat!
Another thing that was brought up in this encounter with Necrom is that we learned that all of their attacks are useless to him. Heck, Ghost was able to perform a finisher but it didn't do anything to him. It just passed him and he didn't experience any damage. This adds up to the scene we had earlier where Alain doesn't care about having a physical body, like he only sees it as a tool and not something of importance. This made me wonder something, why is Makoto questioning about his physical body? Could this mean that his current body was something made by the Ganma and he just wants his human body back? But before we can get any answers about it, Necrom did something, which surprised our heroes.
Necrom Grimm Damashii's debut feels... rushed. I get the point that they want to show off Necrom's capabilities, but to be honest, if they made this thing in the next episode; Grimm Damashii's debut will have more impact to the overall narrative. But since it already happened, guess I should comment about it. Necrom Grimm Damashii's debut is really great. Unlike the other forms that play on the role playing toy configurations, Grimm Damashii has its own set of weapons placed in the suit, in this case, those pen whips attached in his arm. It feels unique and I wish more forms will have that kind of thing.
As for Makoto, well he still has some business to settle with Alain. Specter's second encounter with Alain adds up to the stuff we knew about the Necrom suit. Unlike the Ghost and Specter suits, it seems that the Necrom suit's use is limited to a short period of time and once it runs out, it needs to absorb some Ganma for it to recharged. What's great about this scene is that it established one clear difference between the Ghost Drivers and Necrom's wrist changer, that even with that power; Necrom's suit is limited to what the Ganma have discovered about the Heroic Eyecons.
With the Necrom suit powering down on its own, Alain leaves, only giving us two battered and bruised heroes. But before this episode ends, Takeru finally got a chance to communicate with the soul of Robin Hood, who gives him advice about justice and that each side sees their own kind of justice. Surprisingly, this speech is kinda relevant to the episode because we got this brief scene where Makoto is trying to convince Alain that he has seen the error of Ganma and tries to convince his friend to join the good guys, but nope, Alain still believes in what the Ganma stood for. At the end of the day, Makoto is beaten badly and we still have no idea about the Ganma World and the score Makoto needs to settle on that world.
