There's nothing much to say about it other than the fact that they continue to search for him and thankfully, they discovered where he is hiding all this time, leading us to the plot back to the Monolith and the bee Ganma needing slaves. But before we get into it, let's address the stuff related to Makoto in this episode. What makes the Makoto stuff in this episode is that it also made us wonder who Ryu Tenkuuji is. If Saionji is to believe, Ryu is the reason why Makoto and Kanon ended up in the Ganma World, but since Saionji is the obvious villain, of course he is lying about it.
Because Makoto believes Saionji is saying and it didn't help that he thinks that Makoto is naive, we have this great fight scene between Ghost and Specter. Thanks to this encounter, Takeru finally knows that Makoto is Specter and as expected, it lead us to the traditional "why are we fighting" scene that is like a requirement to a lot of Heisei Kamen Rider shows. Unlike most "why are we fighting" scenes, Ghost defended himself and not get hit every time Specter makes his attacks. What's more is that this fight scene showed us a lot of interesting use of the show's gimmick.
What I love about this fight is that it didn't waste a lot of time when it comes to the action sequence. It's fast and it showed us the versatility of the monster of the week. The fight also explains why the Ganma can grow into a giant without the need of an Eyecon. Turns out that the body of the real Ganma is so tiny that what we see is just a swarm of tiny bees combined to form one human-like creature. It's a really interesting choice for a MOTW, but it allowed the writer to actually showcase the Kumo Lantern in action. You know, because they need to sell the toy!
