To commemorate the success of the Kamen Rider Gavv and No. 1 Sentai Gozyuger double-feature's success, a baton pass event happened in Tokyo last August 11th.
In that event, Hidekazu Chinen, who played Shoma Stomach/Kamen Rider Gavv passes the baton to his successor, Ryutaro Imai, who will play Baku Yorozu/Kamen Rider Zeztz. What makes this event even memorable is that the baton used for the baton pass shares the same colors as Kamen Rider W CycloneJoker, which Chinen noted before Chinen sharing a message to his successor. Both actors were kids when Kamen Rider W was first airing.
This baton pass event has become an annual tradition in recent years, as early as from Kamen Rider Ex-Aid to Kamen Rider Build. Witness Ryutaro Imai make his TV debut as Kamen Rider Zeztz as said series will make its premiere on September 7th.
