Kamen Rider Gavv Officially Revealed

Toei and TV-Asahi has officially revealed the sixth Reiwa Kamen Rider Series, Kamen Rider Gavv with an official poster and initial details about the series featuring a hero powered by sweets!

Featuring a clear purple body that gives off a bouncy feeling reminiscent of a gummy candy, Kamen Rider Gavv's primary form is based on a squishy and juicy gummy candy! His transformation belt, the Henshin Belt Gavv, looks like a mouth and inside it is a figure of a mysterious mini monster called "Gochizo". What does Gochizo mean to Gavv? 

Aside from gummy candy, this bright and poppy new hero will have other forms based on other candy popular to kids! What kind of candy will give Gavv new powers?! More details about his DX transformation belt will be revealed on July 7th.

TV-Asahi's Takehiro Okawa (Kamen Rider Gotchard) will serve as as the show's general producer with TV-Asahi's Keisuke Shibataka, Toei's Naomi Takebe (Kamen Rider OOO, Kamen Rider Geats), and Toei's Minami Takishima as fellow producers. The series will be directed by Teruaki Sugihara (Kamen Rider: Reiwa The First Generation) with Satoshi Fujita (Kamen Rider Geats) serving as action director. Lastly, Go Sakabe (Kamen Rider Zero-One) will compose the show's music and Hiroshi Butsuda once again the show's special effects director. 

Kamen Rider Gavv is set to premiere this September only on TV-Asahi's Super Hero Time block, replacing Kamen Rider Gotchard. Before he makes his TV debut, he will first make his movie debut in the upcoming Kamen Rider Gotchard: The Future Daybreak film this July 26th!
